Work carried out (engine):
The engine and gearbox have been removed. A full rebuild of the top end was carried out: the cylinder heads were removed, cleaned, microblasted, the valves were ground-in, and new inlet and exhaust valves were installed. In addition, the gaskets and piston rings were replaced, and 993 cylinder-head bolts were used. The engine tinware was sandblasted and repainted, and the heat exchangers were carefully cleaned. The camshafts were set up correctly and the engine was refitted with care.
