Hello, I’m selling my Motobecane AV 44. It came out of the Saint-Quentin factory in November 1960.
First Motobecane model to feature a pressed steel frame. It’s a very reliable machine, built to last—this is the real “mobylette”, the one that later became a generic name for mopeds.
I’ve left its patina and age-related flaws (66 years old!), but the engine has been fully restored a few years ago. It runs perfectly even with its original engine!

Of course I have the registration document in my name. Sold without an MOT/ roadworthiness test, but I can get it passed if you want (add the cost of the test).
