Sportwagen Paris is pleased to offer you this very smart 1302 LS Karmann Cabriolet Beetle, delivered new in Sweden on 20 April 1972.
It has only had four owners since new. Its last owner kept it for nearly 25 years, taking particular care of the car and only using it in fine weather.
The vehicle comes with its original owner’s manual as well as a substantial folder of invoices, proving regular maintenance over the years. This history also allows you to follow the mileage development, which today stands at 88, 200 km.
Mechanically, it retains its 1, 584 cc flat-four engine developing 50 bhp. It runs perfectly and has recently been serviced by a specialist.
The bodywork is sound and free from corrosion. The floors are also in very good condition, as the many photos available in the gallery clearly show.
Inside, which has never been restored, it still presents extremely well for its age and retains all the charm of a well-preserved car. The roof, which is newer, is likewise in perfect condition.
With its 50 bhp, this Beetle Cabriolet is perfectly able to cover long distances, although it naturally shines more on winding country lanes than on the motorway. Easy to drive, charming and usable for four, it remains one of the most iconic popular cabriolets of its era.
