Our Land Rover Series III 109, with just 18, 100 km on the clock, was first registered in France on 18 January 1977. This long-wheelbase model is one of the rare examples preserved with such authenticity and perfectly maintained mechanics. Used by the Haute Provence fire service as an intervention vehicle, this example boasts an exclusively French history.
This example displays a period-correct Blue finish in good condition, paired with a black interior. The bodywork is in good condition and the chassis has been carefully sanded and repainted to the highest standards, without any filler.
Under the bonnet, you'll find a reliable 71 bhp petrol engine coupled to a manual gearbox. The mechanics have been overhauled by a classic vehicle specialist, including:
Complete overhaul of brakes and suspension.
Engine strip-down for a full service: seals, engine gaskets, water pump, radiator and ignition.
Carburettor overhaul.
Fitting of 4 new road-suitable tyres.
Prior to sale, a cylinder head torque check and brake inspection will be carried out to ensure optimal delivery condition. The last full service dates from December 2024, and the 2023 MOT shows no defects since the overhaul. The original Hard-Top is available.
