Bodywork & Aesthetic Restoration
Chassis: Complete bare metal restoration, anti-corrosion treatment, shot blasting and micro-blasting.
Paint: Stunning Bahama Yellow finish (code 6805).
Trim: All chrome has been refurbished (bezels, bumpers, trim rings). Mouldings and seals are new (genuine Porsche).
Lighting: Equipped with its original iodine headlights (specific to S models).
Mechanics & Engine (completely rebuilt)
Engine: Type 901/ 02 aluminium block (160bhp) fully reconstructed by a professional (metrology, bearings, piston rings, valves, timing gear all new).
Fuel System: Original Weber 40 IDS carburettors restored (dual-tone plating, shafts and seals new).
Details: Magnesium turbine treated with mordant, gold dual-tone plated fasteners, new wiring harness.
Transmission: Gearbox overhauled, new clutch.
Suspension & Brakes: Fuchs 5. 5x15 anodised wheels, new Dunlop Sport Classic tyres, ventilated disc brakes (original aluminium calipers) and new bearings.
Interior & Equipment
Upholstery: Crafted to original specification by a specialist trimmer.
Driver's Compartment: 42cm Bakelite steering wheel with leather grip and rare "butterfly" horn pad. Instruments refurbished.
Audio: Period Blaupunkt Frankfurt car radio, serviced with discreet Bluetooth integration.
