Description
The Regal Motor Company was founded in 1908 in Detroit, United States, and became known for its innovative chassis concept, the "Underslung", an exceptionally low-slung chassis with the axles mounted above the frame. This resulted in a lower centre of gravity and increased stability; advertisements even claimed the car was unsinkable.
This Regal Model T was imported from America to the Netherlands several years ago. A renowned collector restored it to running condition and fitted it with Dutch registration plates.
The car is in exceptional condition, unrestored; you rarely find them in this state. Unfortunately, the original leather is too worn to sit on, so we've opted for two new seat cushions and backrest covers; the original seats are supplied with the car.
The engine needs to be hand-cranked to start, but with the correct procedure, it's very straightforward.
It's a genuine collector's piece that certainly turns heads!
