Motobécane Mobylette special 50cc, first unrestricted version.. engine with large ports, large diameter exhaust pipe and Gurtner 14 carburettor.
Original special exhaust for the first version.
First owner, purchased new in November 1962, documented history, moped in original condition, complete, cylinder and head numbers matching.
Will need to be started up. I've rebuilt the engine, bearings, oil seals, gaskets, new period-correct piston rings, engine in perfect condition.. immaculate chrome.. Ignition and variator will need servicing as I've only cleaned them.
Original seat in place under the fringed cover, condition is fair as the foam is completely dried out.
New VSX tyres.
Fuel tank very clean and not corroded.
