BSA 650 A10 Golden Flash 1959 Classic motorcycle not entirely original, Gold Star chrome look that I personally find even more beautiful than stock, and with this stunning 2-into-1 exhaust.
Front forks and Triumph 70s Lookeed calipers, currently fitted with a Martin floating disc for improved braking.
Motorcycle rebuilt for reliability by the previous owner on the mechanical side, new pistons and electrics: higher-performance oil pump, non-return valve, Norton external oil filter, an oil cooler is available but I removed it, deemed unnecessary. Primary belt clutch cover, belt and dynamo rebuilt, Amal carburettor serviced, recent battery end of 2025, electronic ignition (electronic magneto), electrical system overhauled. New speedometer and rev counter (replicas) but I have the Smiths Chronometric speedo to check and clean.
No oil leaks, rare for a British bike! 2 new Dunlop K70 tyres suited to the 1959 model year.
Runs really well and always starts in 1 or 2 kicks of the kick-starter after a bit of carb tickling! Nice sound. Very fine machine! Less common than Triumphs.
Just the centre stand to repair but not essential as there's a side stand.
1 box of spare parts included.
Classic registration document in order in my name and no MOT required as it's pre-1960 (that's a bonus). Insured as a classic for approximately £70 per year.
