Description
Hello, I am offering for sale this Peugeot 406 Coupé V6 from 1999 with a manual gearbox, in Pack trim and Lucifer Red, with only 63, 500km on the clock!
The pros:
Very clean for its age
Mechanicals very well maintained (timing belt replaced February 2026, recent spark plugs, oil change and filter also done in February, new thermostat, gaskets and coolant, etc.)
Interior in black electric memory leather, fully functional and in superb condition (driver's seat leather panel replaced as the original had a hole)
New interior mirror and new right-hand exterior mirror (interior mirror fitted with electrochromic gel, more reliable than the original liquid)
New bonnet and boot gas struts
Brakes fully renewed (discs and pads, front and rear)
Boot badge replaced with a new one
No corrosion on the chassis!
Electrics and mechanicals in perfect working order. No noises, judder or abnormal behaviour, etc.
New cabin filter and air conditioning cleaned.
Spare wheel present with an alloy rim identical to the fitted wheels.
100% original!!!
The cons:
Bodywork clean overall, but:
Scratches and micro-scratches present here and there. A full polish (soft pad, medium polish) has been carried out. It has removed quite a few minor defects but not all of them. Ideally, a coat of clear lacquer would restore its shine. A scuff is also present on the front bumper (no cracks!).
The rear left alloy has met a kerb and is scratched. It is neither cracked nor buckled and does not affect the car's handling.
The headlining is coming away above the driver's and passenger's door seals. It is slight but visible; the rest of the headlining is still perfectly bonded.
The wheel nut covers are fitted correctly to the car, even though they do not show in the photos (photos of their current condition are in the photo folder, which I can send).
I have put together a photo and video folder where I have tried to show the car at its best, but also to show its flaws.
It has also had a full interior and exterior clean, an engine bay clean, and a treatment with neatsfoot oil to nourish the leather.
It is nonetheless in very, very good condition for its age. The bumpers are not cracked (quite rare), and it is 100% original. It is ideal for someone who wants to collect it and has some time to look after it. It is a car of nearly 30 years old, so it is not new and has the defects of an "old" car. It nevertheless remains in remarkable condition.
The MOT dates from January 2026 and will be redone before sale.
Price negotiable within reason.
No commercial approaches.
