Description
I am offering for sale my 205 GTI in near-concours condition (a rare find in this state on the market), with the 1. 6 engine producing 115 bhp. First registered 12/ 1989, with 135, 200 km genuine, certified mileage. Full restoration carried out by automotive professionals in 2020/ 2021. This is not a cosmetic makeover and not a project to finish. Restoration file with invoices, complete engine and gearbox inspection and overhaul, with replacement of all seals (including the cylinder head gasket), clutch, starter motor, alternator, battery, front and rear suspension, shock absorbers, front and rear brakes, new tyres, upholstery, headlining, floor mats, and door and window seals (everything is new), all hoses replaced. HISTOVEC history report available, with its two sets of keys and its wallet containing the handbook and owner's and maintenance manual. The car has been fully restored to original specification and is faithful to its period configuration. Complete repaint, as the vehicle is very sound, has never been in an accident and is free from any corrosion (having been through the rotisserie). I have owned the car since March 2023 and have driven it about 3, 000 km. It only comes out for classic car shows and in dry weather, and it is kept covered and dry. Complete timing belt service carried out on 29/ 01/ 2026 at 134, 557 km. Collector's registration certificate (carte grise collection) in my name. Vehicle independently inspected in November 2020. An authentic icon for enthusiasts, collectors and knowledgeable buyers. No further costs to anticipate, serious file. The MOT will be done before sale (the previous MOT certificate is included), with a complete NEW rear suspension replacement, not a reconditioned one. Please only contact me if you are genuinely interested. Price: 25, 600 euros, negotiable within reason.
