Description
I am selling a Peugeot 505 STI from November 1982. 2. 2-litre engine (2165cc, engine code ZDJ), 117hp (11 fiscal hp). 87, 500km, with a few more added as I drive it from time to time. I am its fourth owner. I only know the previous owner, who was the owner of the Peugeot garage that maintains it. Refurbished to as-new condition at 87, 000km by a professional: four new tyres, timing belt, oil change, air filter, fuel pressure accumulator, fuel filter, track rod ends, steering rack gaiters, new battery. MOT passed in February 2025. It will need re-testing for the sale in any case. New gear knob. Clean blue interior. Plastics, headliner and carpets immaculate. I had bespoke mats made. Front windows and electric sunroof. Radio. A few small surface corrosion spots on the bodywork, but very few. Paintwork has faded and needs attention. Corrosion around the sunroof needs attention. I have never tried to open it for fear of not being able to close it properly and it no longer being watertight afterwards. Corrosion on the right rear window pillar and on the corner of the right rear wing (see photos). No corrosion on the sills or chassis. Sound car that drives perfectly. Mechanically, nothing to budget for apart from the steering wishbone bushes (these will be done before the sale). The car has been stored under cover since at least the previous owner before me. On the last MOT: front right and front left steering wishbone bushes. Out of curiosity, I am selling it to fund another project, as my wife and I collect other vehicles. No other photos. Price negotiable but to be discussed in person. For information, I am not a Peugeot 505 enthusiast, so there is no need to tell me about the history of the 505. Please do your own research on this point. I won't bother replying if the information is already in the advert.
