I'm selling my 1340 Fat Boy, which I rebuilt from the ground up myself, as it's my trade. Part-exchange possible against another Harley 1340 Softail to rebuild, but it must be an EVO 2, not an EVO 1, as those have too many mechanical problems. I'd also consider a Triumph T140. Full repaint, bodywork and new frame. Rear tyre 200-section on a polished stainless wheel with 80 spokes, with an offset kit, extended swingarm, wide mudguard and steel self-supporting rear section. New tyres, as with many other parts, and a new battery. Electrics completely redone, as well as the forks. Top-end sealed, so zero leaks, no oil consumption and no smoke. New carburettor and ignition, and the primary chain will be done shortly. The list is long. Everything has been redone so it rides reliably and trouble-free. Currently fitted with a Supertrapp exhaust and K&N filter, which I'm keeping. I have long Vance & Hines pipes to fit, with a round air filter as per the original. Then we'll see. I'm open to all options, including a part-exchange against a decent car such as a BMW or Mercedes from the 80s or 90s, with no fees.
