The Appeal

As it homes in on its 30th birthday, the original TT is having a bit of a moment. Enthusiasts are revisiting one of the most stylish cars of the era, plus one that was designed and engineered at a time when Audi was at the top of its game. As characterful as a classic but with the usability of a modern, these cars make lots of sense.

This smart 2004 Mk1 dials up the appeal with its Mauritius Blue metallic paintwork, an attractive alternative to the more common silvers, and the very rare optional ‘Baseball’ interior that we know TT fans seek out. The style is dialled up with front diffuser and rear spoiler plus a switch to twin tailpipes. There is also a strut brace and upgraded air filter.

It is a low-mileage 150bhp model that is in very good order for a 22-year-old car. We’re told it has been garage-stored in recent years. The service history shows a run of regular attention, most recently in June 2026. The all-important cambelt and water pump were replaced less than 6,000 miles ago in 2023. The current MOT runs to June 2027 with no advisories. A great example of these much-loved convertibles.
