This is my lovely 1970 Honda CB450 K1. It is a UK bike and I have owned it since 1982. I last had it on the road in 2014 and it has been stored in my dry garage since then. First registered 03/ 06/ 1970 it now has 28k miles on the clock and had 4 previous owners. In the early days I used it as my only transport for commuting, fun, even holidays. I kept the bike well maintained and it has never let me down. Then children and other bikes came along and it went into semi-retirement in the mid 80s. It had a mild restoration about this time which is now showing an appropriate patina.
The bike is definitely not an immaculate restoration. It will require a new battery and some re-commissioning having spent 4 years in the garage. Prior to storage the oil was changed, the tank and carbs drained down and the tank lined with ethanol proofer. I would describe it as an honest, nice-looking bike in good condition. There is scope for restoration if that's your thing or you could just do a quick tidy up and use it.
These bikes have genuine investment potential... just look around at some of the prices. But they are also great fun to ride and can make a very practical classic ride. The TLS front brake is better than the discs they put on the subsequent USA models.

Why am I selling it after 36 years? I have reached a point in life where you re-assess, rationalize, simplify and maybe downsize.
The bike is in Saddleworth close to the M62.
