Recent long-term ownership in the Cotswolds area including a number of years with a local classic car workshop proprietor before changing to the present owner (last 3 years). The Sable paint presents very well with just a small area of age-related marks to the scuttle panel and seemingly rust and welding-free underneath and neatly waxoyl protected. The panel gaps are very good with all doors closing beautifully.
She starts immediately and drives away strongly, with a lovely burble from the twin stainless exhausts. On the road she pulls well with a nice smooth, positive gearbox and slick overdrive, the brakes pulling her up strong and straight.
Whilst mostly very original, including the original toolkit in the boot, the car has been upgraded by CMC with inertia-reel seatbelts (front & rear). A period radio with an MP3 aux connection in the glovebox is also fitted. There is insufficient documentary evidence to prove it, but both history and condition do suggest that the sub-50k mileage may well be original.
A clearly cherished Daimler with the attraction of both PAS and the MOD specification and looking very smart in the rare Sable/ Grey colour combination and whilst presenting well, equally not too pristine to enjoy using.
