This stunning MGB was rebuilt at great expense in year 2000 on a new Heritage body shell.
Since then the car has led a pampered life with 2 owners and remains in excellent condition. The current owner has decided to sell his classic cars and concentrate on his collection of classic motorbikes.
This is a nicely specified example of the breed sporting a mildly tuned engine with Dellorto twin choke carburettor and Oselli inlet manifold (There are rolling road printouts contained in the substantial history file). The MG drives beautifully without a squeak or rattle, the extra power allows for an effortless experience combined with smooth actioning overdrive on third and top gear. There is a stainless steel exhaust and the suspension feels fresh and compliant. The brakes are reassuringly powerful and pull up straight.
The cockpit is very tidy with comfortable black leather seats and neat trim. The mohair hood is immaculate.
