For sale, this extremely nice 1983 Mercedes 380SE, 3. 8 V8 engine, genuine low mileage 111790 miles, only 2 previous owners and 3 keys. MOT expires 12th April 2019. Finished in thistle green, with contrasting leather interior, this is a fine example of the Mercedes flagship of the 80s.
It has a comprehensive set of paperwork and MOTs which support the mileage reading. Originally supplied by D Prentice Motors Portadown it still has the original owners manual and other period magazines. A very fine example of the marque, and was well maintained and cared for over its 35 years. The level of comfort in this car is unbelievable making long runs very enjoyable, returning about 36 mpg on a run and 25 mpg around town.
Carpets seats and headlining are all mint, with no rips or tears. Automatic with electric windows, sunroof and mirror, power steering, central locking, electric ariel, disc brakes all round, completely under sealed a few years ago and never welded.
All clocks, switches, dials are working as they should, which can be expected from the Mercedes. It starts, stops, and drives really well. A truly luxurious fast smooth and whisper quiet saloon in an exceptional condition that is more than capable of keeping up with modern traffic, very advanced for its day with superb and innovative technology that still holds up today. It has one or two blemishes as you can imagine but no rust.
