The Ferrari TR, or 250 Testa Rossa, was introduced at the end of the 1957 season in preparation for race regulations restricting sports cars engine capacity to 3 litres. Only thirty-four cars were built, from 1956 through 1961, and this car is a hand-built recreation of these beautiful racing machines.
The engine is a 2953cc V12 with a 4-speed manual transmission. In such a small car at only 2. 3m long and with a weight of only 800kg, the cars achieved great success, dominating their competitors by winning 10 World Sports Car Championship races including the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1958, 1960, and 1961, the Sebring 12 Hours in 1958, 1959 and 1961, and the Targa Florio in 1958.
