Description
The history with this car is just superb with a stamped up service book, bills/ receipts and a detail list of work carried out over the last few years. Number 137 of only 480 built. Mr Powell bought this car from new in 1995, he looked after and serviced the car throughout his life until he passed away. The car was then bought by a Motor Trader who loved the car so much he registered it in his name. Eventually the car was bought by Mr Jones of Okehampton, who is a collector of fine classics. He enjoyed driving it so much that he continued to use the car until he recently purchased a 4x4 due to the fact that he is very remote and a four wheel drive vehicle offers a more practical solution. During his ownership the car has been maintained to a meticulous standard with a full list of every single/ tiny thing that he has carried out. Perhaps I am biased because I just love the older Volvos (anything pre-2005). This car has a special place in my heart because it was always the car I wanted to own but could never afford and it doesn't disappoint! People say you should never meet your heroes but in this case that statement couldn't be further from the truth. It is just so good to drive. It performs like a modern car, but then it has technology that is still not present on some of the cheaper, smaller modern vehicles. The two litre petrol engine is as comfortable on the motorway as it is around town. If you wish to view then please give me a call, serious buyers only.
