Description
The thing that makes this Mk1 MR2 exceptional is the amazing condition of the floor pan, sills, inner and outer arches etc It is very close to impossible to find an original unrestored Mk1 MR2 in this condition. It has spent the majority of its entire life stored in a barn and that combined with the ultra low mileage of only 50, 950 miles means that it is in absolutely exceptional condition. The wheel arches, sill seams, floor pan, etc are all original and are in amazing condition. The inside of the wheel arches/ inner arches area is so clean you could eat your dinner off them. The seams on the sills are original and very close to perfect. When it comes to investment cars it is always the ultra rare unrestored examples that are where the smart money is. As for the outer bodywork the previous elderly owner has put a few very small scrapes and dings on it. I have deliberately not had it made perfect because I like to use my cars and the last time I had an immaculate car I could not enjoy using it because I was so scared of it picking up a blemish. This car would make a perfect basis for a concours restoration. One day soon the classic car market is going to suddenly realise that the Mk1 MR2 is the bargain of the century if you can find an unrestored one!
