The Rolls Royce 25/ 30 is a car produced from 1936 to 1938 and the King of Egypt Faruq I was one of the main admirers buying this car.
The Rolls Royce retains the original plate (Prive ALX 12571) issued by the Driver & Vehicle Licensing Agency in Alexandria of Egypt and customized for the monarch. At that time Rolls Royce made the chassis, the engine and the mechanical parts, while the bodywork and the interiors were left to authorised bodybuilders. King Faruk chose Windovers (see - details above) to personalise his Rolls Royce. It is finished with Royal Red panels. The roof, sides and rims of the wheels are black. The interior of the car is the original one. The dashboard is in polished solid wood and is still in good condition. The seats are in light grey velvet (Bedford Cord), while the driver's seat is in leather grey.
The engine is original and has a displacement of 4257 cc. It has 6 cylinders in-line and valves in the head. The braking system has been reconditioned but has maintained the same characteristics, the tires are new with the characteristic white band. The radiator is Rolls-Royce with vertical slots. The car has recently been restored and has been homologated by the Italian the Driver & Vehicle Licensing Agency.
