1961 All Steel Austin Healey Frog Eye Sprite with just 1 registered owner on the V5. This car was subject to an earlier restoration in the nineties consisting of what I can see as having new inner and outer sills, front floors, a pillars and scuttle, rebuilt doors with new bottoms / skins and more which I have a photographic record of. The car was then parked up with little use due to circumstances. The car then changed hands approximately 14 years ago and sat in storage with little use again until further recent work was carried out including a correct 948cc high compression rebuilt unleaded engine and the majority of the chrome work was replaced. Since I purchased the vehicle I have fitted all new wheel cylinders, new radiator hoses , changed the fluids , sand blasted and powder coated the road wheels, put 12 months MOT on the car with no advisories even though exempt. The car drives without fault and starts on the button 1st time and presents very well indeed with charm and a lovely patina. The hood and side screens are very good as is the interior. This is not a concourse example but a very nice totally solid usable vehicle of 57 years which as most old classic cars could be improved upon or simply used and enjoyed as is. Sold with V5 and original green buff book, 12 months MOT, photographic records, and a full HPI clear certificate.
