You are looking at a rare beast. A structurally and mechanically good Renault Alpine GTA V6 Turbo, with a known full history, all supported by 2 massive documentary files.
The car has had 5 owners from new, me being the fifth. The original owner was Michel Roux the famous Chef, who acquired the vehicle new on 22nd September 1989 , it was then sold to owner 2, his family restaurant 'Le Gavroche' on 8th August 2000 with whom it stayed until 31st August 2005 when it was bought by a Mr. Wilson who was resident in the Isle of Man where it stayed until 11th September 2011 it was the bought back to the UK by the chap who sold it to me, and I bought it on 27th April 2017.
The car had a huge amount of mechanical and structural work carried out whilst in the hands of the last owner. The work was carried out by Lee at Renault Alpine Technical Services (RATS) and as with everything on this car it is fully documented.
As a result we have well presented original car with all the bits that tend to suffer with age dealt with.
Having said this, there are jobs to do on the car, the indicators are cracked but working, the carpet could be improved, but the car is priced very competitively to take this into account.
The car has just been re MOT'd and the MOT is now valid until 21st May 2020. It currently has after market wheels on it which makes the steering a little heavy (no power steering), but I have obtained a good set of original wheels without tyres which will come with the car.
This is a great opportunity to purchase a sorted iconic sports car with a complete history, and can really only appreciate in value over the next few years
