Here's a rarity you won't find for sale. A fully expedition prepared original Landcruiser Troopy! More particularly one with only 93, 000km!! LHD. I have the full history on a carfax report. This vehicle has hardly ever been off roaded. It's like new. No rust. Been garaged all its life as a fire crew truck in Sweden. Over the course of 29 years its averaged 1500 miles each year. Regularly serviced. The 3. 4 diesel engine is barely run in. It averages 30mpg on a run which is very reasonable.
It is fitted with a full size Front runner expedition rack, LED spot lights. A Hannibal Impi roof tent that sleeps 2 persons. 30 seconds and you're in bed. They're rare and they're not cheap either. A Frontrunner awning. It has an adjustable hitch for both UK and US tow balls. Also a demountable NATO hitch is included for expedition trailers. It's weighted to tow 3500kg. A brand new set of Cooper Discoverer AT Mud and Snow tyres on brand new expedition steel rims. There's a snorkel. A Warn 6000lb winch that's never been used. All fully functioning. An expedition bull bar with spot light. Iron man shocks all round. The original red paintwork has been wrapped in grey.
The front seats are like new and have high quality covers. No rips or tears. Not been smoked in. No animals. Its dual 24/ 12v. There's a 150w solar panel on the roof. 2 x leisure batteries. 2 x starter batteries (new) with cut off with split charge relay. 12v and USB chargers internally. The rear has been converted to a seat that takes 4 passengers (not belted) and converts to a double bed. There's a fold down desk for studying if required or eating. Different storage cabinets under the bed and across from it. So plenty of storage. There's room for a large chequer plated storage box on the roof rack if desired. The carpentry is of a high standard.
There's also an expedition navigation system installed with a brand new Getac tablet running built in GPS and 3G with a host of mapping solutions. Including all of the UK on OS 1:25, 000 and 1:50, 000 scales with 3D. Comes with a high quality fully adjustable stand designed for off roading. This vehicle has been fully prepped for an overland expedition from South Africa to Morocco that will now sadly not be happening. But it's ready to go.
It's just passed its Swedish MOT which here is valid for two year. I'm open to exchanging for a vehicle of similar value. I mean similar value. Another expedition type vehicle. I already own expedition equipped Land Rovers and a Nissan Patrol. I am in the market for a Toyota FJ Cruiser though. Must be 4x4 version. LHD or RHD. Cash either way depending. WHY? I'm also looking for land (not with planning). Farmland and/ or woodland/ Stuga. Anywhere in Wales. The more remote and inaccessible the better. Anything considered. Cash either way.
