1970 Datsun 411 Bluebird Estate. RHD Import from South Africa with all tax, duty and NOVa done. UK reg has also been applied for and should be here in a couple of weeks. The car starts runs and drives and can be used as it is. Very solid old car for its age.
Body - Datsun 411 Bluebird Estate. Very solid underneath. Has had repairs to front floors which are solid but could be better, otherwise underneath looks solid and original. Paintwork is nice enough. You wont win concourse with it thats for sure but perfectly useable. Bumpers are nice and straight . They have been painted at some point. SSS hubcaps not sure if original or not. Overall very solid car for its age
Interior - Very tidy. seats look to have been retrimmed at some stage to a good standard. Door cards are good and original. headling and dash are good.
Mechanics - Im told engine is a1600 with a 4 speed box. Starts and runs no problem. Engine is quiet., Gearbox is good. Brakes and Clutch are good. We have had it a short run round the industrial estate and it does what it should. Obviously with a car of this age it want want a thorough checkover before you decided to do hundreds of miles but it looks decent.
