Again, fresh in and definitely worth a little TLC.
To be honest, this one’s condition simply doesn’t stack up with the recorded 26k miles. There’s little history with the bike, but the last owner of twelve years was adamant that the mileage was genuine. On checking the MOT history for the last 10 years, we can find nothing that contradicts the 26k miles, but as i say, she’s just shabby!
Despite having a current MOT until May, we’re happy to renew the MOT on the bike, as tyres, lights, brakes, etc, are all spot on. Unlike most BMW boxers nowadays, this one started life as a naked bike, and has had the rather smart aftermarket full fairing added. The rest of the paintwork on the bike is still original. Brakes are the much better Brembo twin disc set up, and the bike has crash bars, stainless exhausts, Koni shocks, etc. The luggage system is rather nice, period, Krauser kit, and the topbox is Givi. All boxes have keys.
We’re rather busy at the moment, so we’ve decided to offer this one as a project. She’ll need a new battery, general service, etc, as the bike has been in storage since early last year. She’ll start off a jump pack, and oil and charge lights extinguish as they should.
This one’s an easy re commission, ready for the summer, and surely a bargain at this price.
