here for sale is our 1966 GMC 1000 (C10) Shortbed Stepside pickup truck. UK registered, running, driving, stopping, headturning goodness. The truck has had lots of work done recently to bring it up to everyday driving standard, with still just a little left to make it 100%. Everything electrical works! Brilliant quirky fun to drive. GMC 250 CUI L6 fitted which runs well and pulls good. 3 speed manual floor shift trans. perfect truck for someone who wants to be able to do some work and make it their own, but DOESNT want to buy one of these complete basket case new imports that needs EVERYTHING going over and replacing to make it road worthy. This is a fun driving truck with bags of character. Easy to lower if you wanted to go that way, flip the axle and chop / get some lowering springs and you're done. Also being the 250 CUI L6 the trans should fit straight onto a 350. super easy to drop a v8 into this truck.
New copper brake lines from front to back including front rubber flexi lines and a new rear stainless braided line to the axle.
rear brake cylinders honed and service kits fitted.
All brake adjusters removed greased refitted and adjusted, brakes bled.
Brand new windscreen with top tint, New side glass inc one vent window, and brand new back screen . Front n rear rubber seals new too.
new felt channel fitted in the vertical run of the vent window assemblys for the drop glass, and drivers door window channel.
new bed wood and strips fitted with new coach bolts, very nice scorched effect on wood.
