This is an extremely rare opportunity to acquire a Citroen 2CV6 in superb condition having covered only 33000 miles from new. It was purchased new in August 1988 from Prestige Garages in Coventry and still carries that dealer's number plates. The original lady owner used the car until July 1990 when the car had covered some 28000 miles and was sold to a gentleman in Bristol who kept it for the next 25 years, during which time it travelled only a further 4000 miles, and it was sold to the last owner in October 2015. In his ownership it has covered only around 1200 miles. So this lovely car had two years "normal" use from new and was then carefully stored, maintained and used very sparingly for the following 28 years, which is why it now looks and drives like a two year old car!
There is a history file which contains details of all three owners, the original Citroen Owners Handbook and Service Book, numerous invoices for services and parts, and 15 MOTs from the first one in October 1991 at 29453 miles to the current one issued with no advisories on 8th April 2019 at 33317 miles. It is HPI clear.
The car is in superb condition, there is no rust and it has never been welded. The original chassis is in perfect condition and the paintwork is lovely, though there is a small crease in the offside front wing if you look closely. The roof and interior are in excellent order, the seats having been recovered with a new set of black vinyl covers from Matts Soft Tops as a matter of preference by the last owner. A voltmeter and 12v socket have also been added, very useful for your satnav or phone charger.
