This stunning 1999 XKR Convertible has come to us from a private owner who has owned the car since 2007. He is only the second owner and bought the car for occasional weekend use, always keeping it garaged. He has found himself using it less and less - the MOT history shows a gradual decline in annual mileage - and so felt that it was a wasted asset and that the time has come to sell.
This means that we are able to offer a truly outstanding example of this model. Finished in rare but striking Antigua Blue (a colour discontinued by Jaguar in 1999) with contrasting Ivory Leather, it's bodywork looks like that of a car less than half its age. There are none of the corrosion issues that usually blight the bodywork of an XKR this age and the interior is in fantastic condition. The Black hood has clearly benefitted from the car being garaged and is virtually unmarked. With only 44, 400 miles on the clock, the car shows 8 stamps in the service book and drives very tightly with everything working as it should.
