A rare opportunity to own one of the original Buckland B3’s which have a great history both on the road and track. We would like to offer for sale Number 8 of only 12 Mk1’s ever produced. This car was originally registered on the road in 1995 and had very little use since then. This car has just been fully stripped down and had a full chase up restoration by an experienced Buckland owner. The car is finished with a high quality respray in Porsche dark silver with black wings and a powder coated black chassis. The car is finished with a red leather interior that compliments the silver and black paint scheme.
The Buckland B3 was an innovative and original trike built by Dick Buckland in small numbers as an updated version of the Morgan F type. The trike is fitted with a 1300cc Ford Crossflow and also runs the Escort 4 speed gear box and through a diff the power is then transferred to the rear wheel though a chain. The ride and handling of the Buckland’s is incredible due to the push rod suspension and strong ladder chassis.
This Trike is like new and ready for road or racing use. The Buckland B3 is now Eligible for racing with the Morgan Three Wheeler Club sporting section.
