this z1 900 would have to be one of the best un-restored survivor example currently available. it is being sold out of my personal collection.
the z1 900 is one of the most-if not the most- iconic & collectible classic japanese production bikes.
blue chip investment.
this survivor has done a low 16, 500 miles from new.
the bike is 98% date coded correct.
the rear wheel rim, the seat and the exhaust system are the only non date correct parts fitted. All other parts are factory correct.
the previous king & queen seat fitted by the previous owner was removed and replaced with period correct reproduction seat.
the rear wheel is a 16" hog wheel which was fitted back in the 70's to allow fitment of a wider tyre.
the existing exhaust was also fitted in the 1970's. It is in excellent condition with very nice chrome.
this bike comes with the original z1 900 handbook located in the duck tail document holder. Also comes with the original key.
the original tool roll is still in the plastic bag & is complete including the feeler gauges.
the paint on the tank, side covers & duck tail is all original factory paint and overall presents near perfect with the exception of some very small minor stone chips.
the chrome work all over is in excellent condition.
the engine runs excellent & has been fully serviced.
it is fitted with the original correct rib-less carburettors.
new front and back brake pads fitted have been fitted as well as a new battery.
