A rare opportunity to own a beautifully presented Nuvola White Alfa Romeo 147 GTA. A UK manual 2004 model currently sitting on a little over 78, 000 miles (this may rise slightly but the car is garaged and does not get used much so nothing significant) and has all of the choice upgrades that are recommended for this car. A bit of background on the GTA for anyone who is not familiar with this model. The 147 GTA was launched in 2002 and uses a 3. 2 V6 engine. Probably one of the best looking engines of all time and certainly one of the best sounding. In this 3. 2 guise it produces 247 hp and can reach a top speed of 153 mph. The body is different to the standard 147 with a widened body 15 mm at each side to accommodate the larger 225/ 45R17 tyres.
I purchased this GTA through Autolusso Bournemouth in 2018 and have also had further work and servicing through Autolusso in my ownership.
In early 2018 there was extensive work undertaken at Autolusso to give this vehicle a full refresh, this included;

• Full Timing Belt Service
• Front (330mm) & rear Discs & Pads
• Upper Wishbones Powerflexed
• New lower arms
• Powder coated engine covers

• Alloy Wheel refurbishment
• Numerous gaskets replaced
• All new badges
Earlier this year in April 2019 the vehicle returned to Autolusso for a full service and further work carried out including;
• Novitec Stradale+ Coilovers
• 12mm Wheel Spacers
• Eibach Anti Roll Bar kit
• Aluminium Rear Subframe
Following the above upgrades the handling has been transformed, there is little body roll, less front end dive under braking and a far more composed feeling. The coliovers are height adjustable so there can be a balance found between comfort and handling that will suit every driver. This 15 year old GTA has been brought right in to the modern age and provides the handling to match the performance of the legendary Busso v6. There are no knocks or noises form the suspension or drivetrain and the engine pulls really well right the way through the rev range with absolutely no hesitation - and sounds great doing so!
To summarise this GTA is mechanically sound and absolutely stunning to look at, it turns heads and garners attention all the time. The performance is comparable to the current crop of hot hatches but sounds leagues ahead. With all of the regulation we now have there will never be anything like this again with a (relatively) large engine in a small hatch.
There are cheaper GTA’s around and the price is negotiable, to a point, but to find a GTA in this condition that wants for nothing which looks and drives superbly is becoming increasingly difficult. Anyone who comes to see and drive this GTA will struggle walk away from it (just as I could not!). This is a great opportunity to own a well sorted example having all of the recommended upgrades and requiring only routine maintenance for at least a couple of years.
