Mercedes Vito dualiner crew cab fitted with a Mercedes OM605 turbo Diesel engine
Starting with the engine it’s a OM605 that came out of a 1998 C250 that had 117, 000 miles. It has had an uprated injector pump with 6mm internals and a te04 turbo which pulls amazingly well taking in to consideration that it’s 1900kg van.
In my ownership it has had all the fuel pipes uprated to hydraulic hose, new injector seals and leak off pipes replaced. water pump and belts full service and much more, does need a hand brake cable as snapped also the dash has a few lights on due to the engine conversion. It’s got a boost gauge and alt meter added to the gauges and runs the factor gauges for everything else.
now to the body that for a Mercedes van is very clean with next to no rust with just a little bit at the front of the drivers door and thats it. no unsightly dents or marks on the van, it has been lowered all round on springs and shocks with 20 inch split style alloys fitted that have just been refurbed in shadow chrome with stainless steel split bolts and chrome side runners ,
the interior is clean with black leather Audi TT front seats and standard cloth bench in the Back with bulk head separating the the rear load space that can be easily removed along with the seats to make it back into a full size van.
Overall it is a very good van that is also fun to drive and quick.
Only reason for sale is the Mrs is leaning to drive and won’t be able to drive this when she passes , Mot till March 2020.
