Triton Rolling Frame project with 1955 T110 Triumph engine, 1959 Norton Frame and Roadholder forks. Nice Slickshift gearbox.
I’m selling one of my projects. I will not get around to it for quite a while, so it needs to go.
Exchange: If would like this, and have a Triumph that you don't want, please let me know. I collect Triumphs (pre-1971 right back to 1920). I'm after a 500cc engine for a 1967-70 T100. I also collect Marston Sunbeams. Cash either way.
This is a decent entry-level Triton project. It’s something you could get on the road fairly quickly and then add all the fancy bits once you’re up and running. Well, that was my plan anyway.
I’ve shown everything that goes with it in the images. Below is a list of what’s included. It’s best to come and have a look.
It was a project that was started a while ago, then stored. So, it has a few marks and grazes here and there. The wheels and other chrome parts show signs of very light pitting but mostly would polish out.
•The engine is a 1955 Triumph T110 650cc
•The gearbox is a Triumph slick shift
•The forks are Norton Roadholders
•The frame is a 1959 Norton Dominator 99, 600cc.
•The silencers are Dunstall megaphones
So, it has the best ingredients for a good Triton.
There are not many parts that aren’t included. Rev counter, wiring, carb, oil tank, seat, rear light and number plate come to mind.
The engine and frame numbers are very clear. So this would be a simple job to get registered.
