These cars were special imports to South Africa, fully assembled in Germany and loaded with every conceivable extra optioned on the car. Obviously, items like Steel sliding/ tilt Sunroof, Air-conditioning, Electric windows, Tinted glass, Leather seats, LSD, full EVO body kit, Getrag box, LSD, etc., are part of her original specification.
This particular car has always resided in Johannesburg, meaning inland and high altitude of 2, 000 metres results in a rust free car that has never seen snow or a salted winter slush road. Never had any accident damage and never welded.
She comes from a collection and is in IMMACULATE condition. The SMOKE SILVER body colour is superb and unmarked, likewise the BLACK leather interior seats look new with no scuffing wear to the seats, and the carpeting has always had over mats with no signs of any wear , best described as near perfect and per original the day she left the factory.
However, the previous owner did fit an AMG leather embossed steering wheel – the original is not available. Likewise the car when purchased was fitted with non-standard AMG alloy wheels, a superb original set of five wheels was eventually found and even though very good condition were properly refurbished professionally, and just fitted with five new tyres as the rim sizes were different on the AMG wheels.
