This is a 1965 VW Beetle Bug Sunroof Restored to beautiful condition in Bahama Blue with the interior professionally re-trimmed back to bone/ beige making it period correct. This Beetle originally came from California registered 26/ 10/ 64 in San Mateo before arriving in the UK in 2015 by its current owner. On its return to the UK the owner ventured on an amazing conversion to make this classic Beetle fully electric in 2017.
A highly regarded electric conversion company took on the job with no expense spared and completed a full overhaul of the Beetle to make the running gear, suspension and brakes adhere to modern standards. To drive this car is an incredible experience, being fully electric yet nothing of its appearance reflects the modern technology involved and from the interior and exterior, the classic 1960’s Beetle along with all of its original features remains.
