First registered in Stockport on the 1st of August 1991. Originally blue, it has been recently repainted in the white and red Marlboro colours to replicate the pit bikes used by the McLaren Honda F1 team of which Ayrton Senna drove. This model Honda Vision has been photographed being ridden by Senna and also Nigel Mansell. The paint, although not a professional job, is of a good standard which can be seen in the photos. The moped had been off the road since Oct' 2018 before recently being serviced and MOT'd in March this year. Since it's MOT it has been fitted with a new speedo cable, new mirrors and a new licence plate. It also has had some of its body panels replaced with better condition used parts, although the originals have been kept.
Mechanically the scooter is great, it starts first time, every time on the electric start even if it's been stood for a few weeks. It rides without fault, just like it did in 1991. The fuel and speed are correctly displayed along with flashers for the headlight and indicators. As it is a completely standard scooter performance-wise, it is limited to a top speed of 30mph. It's much more suited for a gentle ride to the shops or an innercity commuter than long-distance or higher speed limit roads. It runs without any smoke and the exhaust is in great condition meaning the 2 stroke tizz noise isn't as loud as other scooters. Revolutionary in its time was the added underseat storage for a small helmet and locking 'glove box'.
Tax is £20 for 12 months and insurance for myself is only £50 for the year.
Selling as I don't have a use for it and seems a shame just to have it sat in the corner of the garage when it's ready to ride.
