A beautiful unrestored bike in excellent original condition that has only covered 1, 800 miles. With only four owners from new presented in stunning Candy Jade Green. This motorcycle is as it came out of the historic Honda, Suzuka factory 45 years ago.
Imported from the US in 2003, it is understood that the first owner was unable to ride the machine soon after buying it, but his widow decided to keep the Honda for over twenty-five years.
The original factory exhaust system with the part number HM 323 500-Four stamp and the yellow factory painted torque dots on the bolts all still remain on the Honda. The original US Vehicle Inspection stickers from the state of Georgia are still present on the left hand fork. Although fitted with new tyres, the original forty-five year old Bridgestone tyres that were factory fitted are also available.
These early CB550K motorcycles were not originally imported in to the UK as our home market continued with the CB500K until the introduction of the CB55OF1. The CB550K had more torque and a sweeter gearshift than the CB500K.
Current MOT and recently serviced with fresh oil, filters, plugs and a new battery, this bike is great to ride on the road with a very sweet engine and would also make a wonderful show bike.
The V5C registration is supplied with the machine, together with a dating certificate and other documents. This a rare opportunity.
