GS package - dual exhaust, heavy-duty suspension, posi-traction differential and updated rear quarter-panel "GS" badging in the new initials-only format.
This car was imported from Enid, Oklahoma in August 2013 by it's previous owner based in Rugby here in the UK. During his 5 Years of ownership he only clocked up 155 miles.
Wildcats with the GS package are pretty rare, even in the States and I believe this to be the only one in the UK.
Of 10, 800 2 door Wildcat sport coupes built in 1966, only 852 had the 1 Year only 'Custom GS' option.
I purchased the car in August 2018 with the intention of gradually restoring it over the coming Years.
The engine Cylinder heads were reconditioned in May/ June 2019 at at cost of almost £2000. New lifters, pushrods and rocker arms have been fitted.
Dashpad has been recovered in leather, new power steering pump and new steering linkage fitted.
The interior is very tidy, paint is original.
The speedo is not working correctly only registers above 35mph and is not accurate.
I have covered many miles and she runs real well but I have seen another car that I quite like.
