A rare original unmolested example of this 60's classic family car. Much loved for the past 14 years, used only as a summer car for shows and events. Brings a smile wherever it goes and gets lots of attention. It underwent a total overhaul in 2016-2018, engine and gear box striped and rebuilt (valve seats hardened for unleaded fuel), new brakes and seals, engine bay detailed and resprayed. Also new headlights, coil, switches and lots of other bits I have forgotten. Has been less than 150 miles since the rebuild (2 classic car shows last summer). Big file of receipts and photos of the restoration. Comes with original hand book, service book, tools, even a lovely 1960's leather snow cover for the radiator. Paint is 55 years old and a re-spray is due at some point. There is a ding on the leading edge of the bonnet (my fault for jacking it up inside the garage and not checking!) and there is an old crack/ small dent on near side front wing, easy repairs for a body shop professional. The interior is original and very clean, lived in and used certainly, but not scruffy and tatty. Original factory radio in place. Car is fully wax-oiled underneath and has had a full winter prep each year (new diff oil, gear box oil, steering box re-fill and check, every grease point filled, etc.) Sadly, it doesn't get driven as much as it should and it is time for it to find a new home.
