This would be an ideal farm car or similar owing to the 4wd and general condition.
Alternatively, if you’re good with wiring you can swap in the engine, gearbox and driveline from an Impreza WRX of the same generation. This was the reason I purchased the car originally but I haven’t got the time to see the project through.
The power steering is a bit notchy and I think there might be an exhaust leak somewhere. It idles a bit lumpy but the power feels decent enough and it hasn’t ever cut out while it’s been running.
The paintwork isn’t in the best condition and I’ve tried to capture that in the pictures. The previous owner had a 555 livery on it which has been removed. In some places you can still see the outline of the old stickers. There’s a bit of bubbling here and there around the arches and some visible rust on the driver’s door by the wing mirror. Swapping in another door shouldn’t be too tricky.
I have acquired some GTB goodies to put in it. For £800 I’ll include all of it with the car, otherwise I’ll sell them separately. Those are: GTB seats front and back (the rears have folding headrests and a built in dog guard), door cards, steering wheel, plastic boot liner and boot load cover. I’ll also chuck in the electric folding wing mirrors I bought (they are a set of three because one of the blue ones needs the internals swapping in from a spare one). I have pics available of all of these.
I’ve also got a remote keyless entry system that I’ll include. It’s just an ebay kit but will need a motor in the driver’s door to make it work.
Let me know if you have any questions. Am working from home so I can accommodate weekday viewings. Near offers considered.
