1993 Metro GTi 16v. Super rare. Originally a Rover Group management car, it has been owned by me for nearly 2 years during which time I have spent a lot of money completely restoring it.
The main work undertaken in the last 2 years was a professional 'windows out' respray in stunning Caribbean blue. It looks fantastic !
All 5 x alloys refurbished and fitted with matching new Yokohama tyres.
Rear arches professionally repaired with new metal and rust proofed.
Early MPI model with a file full of receipts and invoices for previous expenditure over the years including the original purchase receipt when the first private owner (Mrs Roberts) bought it from their local Rover dealer (Douglas Graham in Old Windsor) with 7k miles on the clock in 1995.
Interior is very clean with no rips or tears in the seats. Only minimal signs of wear.
I also have an original Metro sales brochure and product insight book from Rover Learning Business to go with all the other paperwork.
Full stamped service book.
46k genuine miles.
V5 in my name. Only 3 x previous owners (one of which was Rover). 2 sets of keys. MOT through to Feb 2021 (no advisories).
A nice job (!) for the new owner is to fettle the central locking and interior courtesy light. No other issues I am aware of. The car drives and handles very well.
