We are delighted to present for sale, this unique Series 3 soft top Land Rover®, presented in Aston Martin Frosted Glass Blue. This is a genuine Aston Martin (2016) colour, and is achieved through the layering of 7 coats of paint. This gives a metallic flake shine, which looks incredible in the sunlight.
Externally, as can be seen by the photos, this vehicle has been subjected to much attention which includes a new canvas, new 750 tyres with bonnet spare for increased cruising speed and stance, rear mudflaps, towbar with electrics, defender wing mirrors, flared arches, and new front bumper and numberplates. This gives a very unique appearance, and we are confident there will not be another Series 3 in the land that looks like this! The paintwork alone took over a week to apply.
The interior of this vehicle is perhaps the most costly and stunning that we have produced to date – there are three deluxe-style seats to the front, with matching rear benches. These are made out of ‘Caramel’ Jaguar leather, which is of the highest quality – the seats alone cost in excess of £3000 to be re-covered after the purchase of a new seat set. The seating also has a button finish, which can be seen from the photos. The rear bench seats have been covered to match the front, with the button effect. 7x Cream seat belts are fitted, to match the interior finish. We have fitted an aftermarket, high quality (and costly!) steering wheel in Evander Wood, to give a more luxurious feel. The gearknob has been finished to match the seat-belts. Deluxe matting is fitted to the footwells. In short, this makes the interior really stand out….. increasingly these days, we are finding that our upper-end rebuilds are being finished in this bespoke way, to give an air of uniqueness and quality that one cannot normally achieve. It is a truly lovely space to sit.
Out on the road, this vehicle performs as it should and benefits from the oversized tyres, which give longer in-gear acceleration, and a more relaxed cruising experience. The petrol engine pulls well and this vehicle really turns heads wherever it goes!
In summary, if you are looking for a soft-top Series 3 Land Rover®, with uniqueness and interior comfort and luxury, then this could be for you. We have never seen another vehicle like this one – and it really stands out in the showroom! With a long MOT with no advisories (uncommon at this age!), and upcoming MOT & Tax Exemption, it should prove cheap to run in the longer term, whilst being a solid investment for the future.
