For sale 1991 Alfa Romeo Series 4 Spider ‘Duetto’, styled by the iconic Pininafarina. It is widely agreed that Alfa produced premium cars relative to other makes of its day, particularly for it’s then advanced legendary engine, its thrilling drive and all round quality.
This 1. 6 naturally aspirated (twin cam and carburettor, rear wheel drive) S4 is a rare model. The S4 was only manufactured as left hand drive unless converted. The total production run was 2, 951 during 1990-92.
Garaged in southern Italy until imported 2016, this car is rust free and now garaged in the UK.
The recorded mileage is just over 57, 000 miles. Mot’d till 29/ 12/ 2020.
The previous and second owner in Italy was a British expat Alfa enthusiast and a retired mechanical engineer who presided over meticulous mechanical maintenance and care of the vehicle for the 9 years of his ownership.
Since arriving to the UK I have had further conservation/ restoration work carried out, to transform the car from good to excellent condition, including electrical overhaul including instrument cluster, new exhaust, driver side door seal replacement, canopy clean and waterproofing, wheel refurbishment, new front springs and comprehensive detailing.
The car has a comprehensive file which includes all maintenance and work carried out in the last 15 years!
