Ideal Evo Twinshock or Vinduro with some work
USA import a year ago, now road registered with V5 on an N reg.
I bought this as a project with a siezed bottom end. It turned out the engine had been rebuilt, got wet, frozen and popped a couple of core plugs out of the flywheel which had stopped the bottom end solid. I had the bottom end bearings changed and a new rod fitted by Saunders and put it back together with new gaskets and a few fasteners.
After a couple of rides on Salisbury plain the top end siezed so a hone and new piston and ring have just been fitted and it's been run in the garage.
When I first got the bike I sourced and fitted an original expansion and front pipe, new retaining springs and an FMF shorty silencer. I also fitted a Chinese copy carb, re-spoked the rear wheel and welded up a couple of broken stud holes on the rear hub. It had a new chain and pair of maxxis road legal enduro tyres/ tubes etc at the time.
I fitted some grips, side panels and a front number board (with cable ties) that had been sitting in the shed and registered the bike with a VJMC dating certificate.
It hasn't been restored... just put back together and cleaned/ wiped down. It will need work, but that's what winter evenings are for! The bike hasn't been subjected to an MOT as it's exempt by age. Free to tax etc.
Please judge condition in the pictures for yourselves.
It will come with a spare rear shock for rebuild (the current one has lost some oompf) and the original air box (less side covers and cages).
Cash or bank transfer on collection from SN8, near Marlborough.
