These 90’s S class are really revered as the last of the quality built vehicles before Mercedes went on a downward spiral of building vehicles from cheap ungalvanised steel that rusted to bits ! .
This particular car is a fantastic example owing to the fact that it was originally registered to bellway homes plc before being gifted to one of the directors (as it was his work vehicle) upon his retirement. It has only covered a warranted 99600 miles from new and comes with a complete service history that has all been completed by Mercedes Benz main dealers and local specialists only , the book is fully stamped and the last one completed 6050 miles ago . It also has all of it’s original owners manuals and all the original keys .
Mechanically the car drives without fault and the only issues that are apparent are a sticking boot handle and two patches of corrosion on the body – one on the front wing and another on the drivers side arch .
Condition wise the body is very straight overall but there is the odd age related chip/ mark . The bonnet has been painted in the past in my opinion and looks to have had a silicon reaction on the drivers side . These s class tend to suffer from the front and rear windscreens de-laminating and this one is no different! The front screen also has a crack on the passenger side lower corner but would not constitute an mot failure.
This car drives exceptionally well and still bears the original dealers number plates and window stickers . If the sensible reserve price is met I will also include the pictured private number plate .
This car features double glazing, heated and electric seats as options .
Inside the vehicle is in super original condition with no excess damage or wear at all .
This is an awful lot of car for the money and very sensibly reserved! Get bidding!
