In 1999, to celebrate fifty years of Land Rover, the company produced 385 examples for the UK of the 50th Anniversary Limited Edition with a 4. 0 litre V8 petrol engine and four speed ZF automatic gearbox.
Finished in Atlantis Blue features include air conditioning, County trim, six seats, grey Boost alloy wheels, an internal front Safety Devices roll cage with the bulkhead removed, a NAS rear bumper, chequer plate wing tops/ sills/ rear corner protectors, a rev counter, sunroof, an A bar in chrome with spotlights, central locking, seat belts front and rear, side steps, a central cubby box with a 50th Anniversary plaque and Land Rover mud flaps all round. The vehicle has also been fitted with remote central locking and bluetooth connectivity.
It has two keys with fobs, complete 50th Anniversary dealer book pack, every MOT and comprehensive Service History.
The gearbox ratios have been adjusted from 1:22 to 1:410, by Ashcroft Transmissions, which greatly improves performance. In addition it has had a full wax oil treatment underneath.
It has been maintained by Land Rover specialists along with yearly engine oil and filter replacement when the low annual mileage didn't warrant a service.
