Here is one of the fifty front entrance Routemasters delivered to Northern General in 1964/ 65. This is the long wheelbase version which had 72 seats and a Leyland 600 engine. Once withdrawn in 1980 it transferred to London Transport but didn't re enter service. It was converted to an exhibition bus and received a rebuilt engine and gearbox in 2001. We acquired it in 2003 and it has sat in dry storage since. There are no seat frames.
A great opportunity to convert or restore an iconic bus.
