(NOW SOLD 29/ 8/ 2021) laverda rgs 1000 which i have done a nut and bolt full restoration, and engine rebuild.
i have been a laverda main dealer since 1978 (cox engineering laverda) so this restoration has been professionally carried out to the highest standards.
i have totally restored every part of this motorcycle.
the beautiful color is audi nimbus grey metallic, which is also pearlecent so changes color in the sunlight, sadly my pictures do not do the paintwork justice. The paintwork is all new and has a high lacquer finish. All the bike has new powder coating throughout, and all the badges are re enamelled. Everything is rechromed, repolished engine covers and footrest hangers, seat reupholstered with strap, new black chrome jota silencers with stainless fitting kit, black chrome down pipes and jota large bore collector box, . rebuilt brake calipers, goodridge stainless brake hoses, and stainless oil hoses, new sprockets, fully rebuilt forks, with new seals and fork oil, new steering head bearings, all original fasteners which are replated bzp, new pirelli super demon tyres, new wheel and cush drive bearings, carbs fully rebuilt, engine total engine strip, crank cases, barrels and cylinder head, soda and vapour blasted, complete rebuild with new gaskets, seals, cam chain, clutch springs, inlet valve seals, piston rings and circlips, honed bores, new cam slipper blade, new starter clutch springs/ rollers & plungers, new cavis fuel pipe, all brake discs reground, new indicators, and upgraded witt ignition system with new coils, too much to mention....... the clocks were serviced and calbrated, and new clear perspex face fitted. A fully sorted bike which runs exceptionally well and all fully documented on "laverda riders worldwide" facebook page. Hundreds of pictures available on request. The bike was originally registered in the isle of man, so easy to get an age related registration in the uk. I can also help with worldwide shipping.
the bike was only completed december 12th, so is essencially a new bike........
