Beschreibung

1976 was the final year of the factory-built convertibles and the last of the truly large Caddy convertibles. This magnificent and collectable vehicle is finished in Cotillion white with top quality red buckskin trim and is complemented by a white soft top and whitewall tyres. This particular car was one of the famous Cartier cars - entry number 49 in Class 7 - the cartier style ET Luxe in association with Cunard and was invited by Arnaud M Bamberger and the Earl of March and judged by Lord Linley. The show took place on the private lawn outside Goodwood House for the festival of speed on 14th July 2002. We believe there has been one previous keeper in the USA and two in the UK and the mileage is 74000 miles from new. The vehicle is both tax and MoT exempt. Powered by a 500 cubic inch 8. 2 litre V8 offering 210bhp makes motoring with this long sleek car an absolute breeze.
The many features include: power steering, electric convertible hood, cruise control, power brakes, automatic gearbox, woodgrain interior, tilt and telescopic steering wheel, electric windows, original floor mats, Cadillac radio AM/ FM/ CB and cassette player, Kenwood speakers, presidential campaign removable seat which affixes to the top of the back seat, 50/ 50 divided front seat with power electric on both sides and recliners on both sides, individual armrests, full size spare wheel, nearly new whitewall Bridgestone tyres, new exhaust system, excellent air conditioning, soft close boot lid, automatic power door lock, delay action windshield wipers, heated rear window, outside temp gauge, trunk release with power pull down, twilight sentinel (this is a fully automatic headlamp system which operates at twilight and will automatically turn on all of your headlamps and taillamps without intervention), illuminated entry system.
The history folder includes: Current and previous V5s, previous MoT certificates and related documentation, DVLA documentation and correspondence, original tax discs and holders, car analytics report, handwritten condition report, original letter re the sale in 1994, HPi report, list of extras, Cadillac Club paperwork, customs paperwork, , invoices in excess of £4000 for servicing and maintenance, Goodwood festival of speed show paperwork and judging documentation etc, Cartier paperwork, document holders, business cards, Self-Starter Cadillac Owner’s Club magazine March 1997, exhibition literature when shown at the Classic Cars on the Prom in Bournemouth, also exhibited at the Can-AM Car Club Festival of Motoring 2006, article in the Ferndown magazine 2003 featuring this car, original sales brochure, Cadillac exterior and interior colour chart x 2, standard spec booklet, cruise control booklet, accessory booklet, Serviceman Mags 1966-1967, images of car in the USA at car show and in the UK at Owner’s address.
This is a very fine and dandy automobile from a bygone age in fantastic condition throughout. A grand collector’s item, a fun cruiser, a total head turner and a vehicle of true luxury. £24995
